I'm no expert, and am only speculating.<br /><br />Some of the folks in Mexico have raised this as a possibility, although I don't think that the Mexican government has substantiated it, or is willing to substantiate it.<br /><br />Water rationing is going to hit me pretty hard this Summer. It has always come with a high price, but the price is about to get higher as our water company resort to several tiers to discourage excessive use of water.<br /><br />What is this, a world-wide phenomenon?<br /><br />It seems ironic when you think that the planet is mostly water. I believe that desalination technology is still too expensive to make a dent in the world's need for fresh, clean, drinking water.<br /><br />Who knows?
