Just how dumb are we??
Here we are, nestled on our sofas, cradling our iphones and our eyes riveted on the TV screen.
Our hard-earned money sitting in banks.
Our fridge filled with food purchased at supermarkets, with the origins and the processing of the foods unknown to us.
We give our bodies and our children's bodies to medical doctors who know best and insert what they like when the like.
We lather the paraben lotion on our skin.
We bathe in it.
We go to work.
Day in and day out.
To pay bills.
And to watch more TV and to cradle our iphones tenderly lest they fall and shatter into the cheap pieces they are made from.
And in the meantime, C-section surgeries increase, cancer becomes widespread, people in Africa die, fake GMO foods becomes the norm, national debt increases (only to come out from our pocket, mind you, so get to work) and nature becomes de-natured.
How freakin' dumb are we to allow this to happen??

Planned 'Black' Parenthood
Is Planned Parenthood targeting the Black community???
Are there more Planned Parenthood facilities located in African American neighborhoods than in other places???
Well, some Black folks think so.
A group of Black pro-Life supporters gathered in Washington D.C. for a press conference at the National Press Club to take a stand against Planned Parenthood and late term abortions. They were joined by Star Parker, head of Urban Cure. Click here for story.
I highly approve!!
Black folks have to know that there are cunning organizations who try to demise our future and self-esteem through acts of 'charity.' And we have to be on the look out.
Remember the whole eugenics movement?? Wasn't good for us back then, and it's not good for us now.
And mind you that many fast food restaurants, laden with trans fats, rancid oils, poor nutrient, MSG, and who knows what, are found in Black neighborhoods.
Well, that's where the business is....
Maybe.
Maybe not.
We are not a monolith, but being united gives a lot of power...
G-d bless!

India versus Monsanto
I saw this article, and it made me soooo happy!!!
People are standing up against Monsanto-the biotech company responsible for making genetically modified organisms/(food).
For the first time ever, a country is suing Monsanto.
India is accusing Monsanto of biopiracy-of stealing indigenous plants, specifically the brinjal. Brinjal is very popular Indian staple. India believes that Monsanto is stealing the plants in order to make genetically modified versions and selling them w/o giving any compensation to India.
It could take years, but the Indian government feels it's important to send the message out as a deterrent.
I hope other countries learn from this example.
This is truly exciting news. Monsanto has to understand that they cannot create frankenstein seeds and 'foods' and destroy our farms and essentially our lives.
Go India! Get'em good!
G-d bless!!

Taking Down Monsanto and GMO Foods
I read an article today that got me so excited.
Groups, "Organic Consumers Association, Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap, Center for Food Safety, Mercola.com, Nature's Path, Natural News.com, LabelGMOs.org, Food Democracy Now, and the Institute for Responsible Technology, filed papers with the California Attorney General's office to place a Citizens Initiative on the Ballot in November, 2012 that would require mandatory labeling of genetically engineered foods and food ingredients."
In Europe, it is law that foods must be labeled if they are genetically engineered, but in America no such law exists and therefore all sorts of food stuff and ingredients can be sold to the American consumer w/o their knowledge. Monsanto, the "biotech bully" are really heading the GMO production, and it's fantastic that people are gathering together to end their tyranny!
This is what we need!! Strength, courage, prayer, and action! Consumer power can really shift the tide to our benefit. And why not?? If we are going to pay money to buy food, it better be the real deal and not some rip-off!
Right now, the Citizens' Initiative is in need of volunteers, donations, and signatures to help forward the cause.
