Please pass the Meat Glue....

Another reason why we should buy organic meat and only eat home-cooked food....

We know this is all about making more money.

At the expense of our health.

Be aware at how deep the rabbit hole goes as to how far the Food Industry, the FDA, and a whole lot of money-hungry minds will go

for an extra buck....

how can this 'naturally occurring' substance resist heat?

Gimme a break. Ain't nothin' natural about this.

Reminds of the R. Nachman story The Simpleton and the Sophisticate...

This is sophisticate and disgusting!

G-d bless!

Junks or Jewels...

So, it's like food....

Is having a healthy sexual life bland and tasteless??

Just like healthy eating brings vitality, power, and strength to the body, so will a healthy
sexual life...

Healthy is what gives life.

Unhealthy is what takes away life; like the junks

like porn, like masturbation, like sex outside of marriage, like spilling seed, like insensivity towards
ones spouse,

In every nook and corner, you'll read how it is good and helpful to release tension by pleasuring oneself, exploring oneself or what have you. This is what everyone says.

But the Torah says otherwise.

Hey, why you trying to control my life???

Is G-d trying to control your life? That's the great fear. But actually, far from it. In His love, G-d provides advice so that we can CHOOSE the jewels and stay far away from the junks that lead to spiritual nail fungus, diabetes, and cancer...

Get the picture?

And. well, golly do Jews have sex?? Do Noahides??

Listen, G-d doesn't tell a person not to eat b/c it's part of our makeup. We need to eat. And He's not telling us not to have sex. The Torah actually stresses the importance of marriage. In Genesis (2:18 ) it's written ,"it is not good that man be alone." When men and women are unmarried, they are more prone to fall into nasty habits like masturbation and spilling seed.  The seeds implanted in wo/man have a divine source, like everything in the world.

And is not meant to be thrown away for fleeting pleasure.

So, then what?? Are we doomed to hush our flaming passions into the somber chambers of a religious institution and watch forlornly as all our sexuality and spirit are squeezed out of us,  turning us into bland and dull-eyed monks??

Wouldn't you like to think so?

But if the question is never asked of what we SHOULD be doing, then yes, it will seem like it.

Just like how healthy eating at first seems like a cruel death for our taste buds!!

But it's not really death is it?? It's actually life.

And it can taste good.

First, we need a healthy dose of curiousity to hear what G-d has to say about sexuality in the Torah....

G-d bless!!!

Shana Tova 5773

Rosh HaShana has come!!!

This is the time when we tell the whole world that G-d/Hashem is King.

and nobody else....

Junks or Jewels...?

It's like food.

Everyone likes food. Good tasting food.

Once upon a time, I use to indulge in chocolate candy bars, pastries, chips, white flour
stuffage, and all sorts of dairy treats without any second thoughts and without any qualms. At that time it tasted great, it still does, but where did it leave me??

Food have legacies. And these food stuffs left behind a legacy of painful menstrual cramps, persistent
nail fungus, and weak knees!!! Where's the good taste of that chocolate candy bar in the throes of my
period while I'm moaning and groaning in pain??? No where, cuz this junk food is fleeting, has no real lasting value and is as the name suggests: junk!!!

Today, I have left a lot of those 'teenager' type foods behind, but can I really be happy for the 'good old days?'
Not really.  Thankfully, the cramps have been greatly reduced since cutting out dairy from my diet.
My cycle seems to be getting back to normal. The nail fungus seems under control. And my knees are getting
stronger.

Had I known then what I know now....

But back then the idea of 'healthy eating'seemed so restrictive and horrifying. Why eat tree bark when I could have candy bars?!  Why eat bland food??!

I humbly realize that back then I simply had no genuine interest in healthy food and therefore never delved into it and never asked real questions. I simply did not want it.

Today, I am nuts for healthy eating!! My spirit soars when my fridge is full with brown rice, lentils, beans, lettuce basil, parsley, beets, various nutty treats like hazel nuts and almonds, an assortment of spices like tumeric, cumin, garlic, and oregano, my coconut and olive oils.

How I RELISH healthy eating!! And it tastes soooooooo good.....

And what legacies do these jewels leave behind??? They include strong immune systems, healthy and oxygenated cells, supple tissues and glowing skin, an efficient liver, a happy and healthy heart, regular bowel movements, strong and functional kidneys, increased energy,

the list goes on....

Why would anyone choose junks over jewels as a legacy???

G-d bless!!

Mishlei Madness: A New Song

Like music?

Certain kinds, right??

Check out the new tune playing in the street.

It's new and yet has been around for thousands
of years.

But you gotta listen veeery carefully.

'Cuz with the traffic rush and the daily buzz, it might be hard to miss.

"Wisdom sings out it the streets.
It gives forth its voice in the squares..."

(Proverbs/mishlei 1:20)

G-d bless!
